what's the difference of Shaabi and Balady?

Shaabi evolved out of baladi, is very popular in Egypt, Algeria and Morocco. It's a happy song and simple, much like the Berber tradition and gnaua, the music comes from the ancient ceremonies of Guinean slaves who passed through Morocco towards America, mingling with all the other elements of modern Arabs. In modern Shaabi the lyrics can be quite similar to balady,( talk about the peoples, country),  but with a pop/modern rhythm. The music is similar to western pop; often the songs have a strong beat. The lyric is upbeat, cheeky, brave and with slang. Hakim and Saad are shaabi
The rhythm Saabi: Music Shaabi can contain balady  rhythms, but according to Roberta Salgueiro a hallmark of the style is the Shaabi is the "Mawal" (an singer's  improvisation   on the introduction  music), where there is an introduction of the history of music making with the viewer understands the message of the song.
How do if Shaabi dance?
According to Farida Mahaila dance Shabbi need up a lot of humor, expression, (sometimes gestures and expressions are used to interpret the lyrics), charm and playfulness; spins is not common, nor large displacements, most steps are with feet on the ground, there isn't a dance with elegant posture, (kind of dancer posture), the movements are simple, basic traditional (eights, rounds etc), but the dance is very full of feeling and emotion.
The costumes Shaabi: the principle  the peoples wears  galabaia, but today can wear any outfit.

Baladi, (my land). Comes from people who migrated from rural areas, villages among others, to the cities and brought their dance with them. There isn't a folk dance and popular dance. Says the legend that was the baladi that gave rise to belly dance.
Surya Hilal says: “Awalad el Balad (the children of the country)… The term describes the particular identity of the working class people, the people who have migrated from rural villages and farming communities and settled in the cities, creating their own kind of community. Awalad el Balad is also a term that refers to the “real Egyptian” , or ” Masri Asil”, as opposed to the Western occupiers and Westernized Egyptians, known as “Afrang”. This is an important distinction for Egyptians, who have been ruled by foreigners for long periods of their history.”
Baladi rhythm: Rhythm of baladi is maksoum with 4/4 time
DUM DUM DUM TAKATA TAKATA.
How do if baladi dance?: traditionally is improvisation  and with simple steps like eights, camels, round and graceful movements with your hands and arms.
The costumes Baladi: Galabaia with headscarf and in hip, (usually the hip scarf has medals).
